What Successful Affiliates Do

This blogpost is on “Strategies and Focus that All Successful  Affiliates Usually  Do”.

Way back in the late 1990s, in his International Bestseller Book, “Business @ The Speed Of Thought, Bill Gates,  The billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder, predicted the following:-

Middlemen “Buyers and sellers will go direct. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the percentage of middlemen will go down quite a bit.

Micromarkets “In the future you’ll see lots of content that is aimed at a few thousand people.  Media distribution channels will be radically redefined.”

Today, all the above are happening now and are still evolving, to the greatest benefits of consumers.

For unique products and services, sellers will find more potential customers and may command higher prices.

This is the route most successful affiliates do,  as more consumers adopt the Web lifestyle.

How many internet users are there?

Wikipedia:

Internet marketing, also referred to as online marketing, is marketing that uses the Internet. Internet marketing strategy includes all aspects of online advertising products, services, and websites, including search engine marketing, public relations, social media, market research, email marketing, and direct sales.

Successful Affiliates normally have a business model for each niche they have.

A business model describes the rationale of how an business creates, delivers and captures value.

1. Customer Segments (cs) – An business serves one or several customer segments

2. Value Propositions (VP) – It seeks to solve customer problems and satisfy customer needs with value propositions.

3. Channels (CH) – Value propositions are delivered to customers through communication distribution and sales channels.

4. Customer Relationships (CR) – Customer relationships are established and maintained with each customer segment.

5. Revenue streams – Revenue streams result from value propositions successfully offered to customers.

6. Key Resources – Key resources are the assets required to offer and deliver the previously described elements.

7. Key Activities – by performing a number of key activities

8. Key Partnerships – Some activities are outsourced and some resources are acquired outside the business.

9. Cost Structure – The business model elements result in the cost structure.

For Affiliate Newbies, suggest to do the following:-

1. Find a profitable niche.

People are already spending money on this niche. Build and maintain an authority niche website, cater to this target group. Work on search engine optimization, to improve page ranking on search engine such as Google or Yahoo.

2, Build a list.

In order for people to visit your website and want to be your subscribers, you need to have something they want or able to resolve their current problems, be it  information or a product  they need.  Provide constant updates, through blogging on a regular basis. Capture their names and email addresses through offer of free gift promotions and newsletters. The purpose is to convert leads into potential customers, the mail list.

3. Market related products to the list.

In order for that to happen, need to be mindful not to send too many emails that do not add value to these relationships. They want information, that will benefit them in some way, not your products per se. So, nurture a client base that will buy from you, the products you are promoting and support you over time.

In my next blogpost, I will talk about the Profitable Niche Search and focus on how you could do it more effectively.

Bye from now.
