If you have done your homework already, by now, you should know the following:-

  • How to monetise your Niche blog
  • How stiff is your competition in your Niche market

If not, let go through the steps of finding one here:

  1. Ideas of your Niche market
  2. Keyword Research
  3. A Profitable Niche

1. Some suggested the 3Ps, to get Niche ideas.

  • Passion – Ideas coming from something you are interested in and passionate about. Eg. you are a fishing enthusiast. You have knowledge about fishing techniques, tools and accessories, where to buy them. etc.
  • Pain – Something that troubles somebody badly. Eg. back pain and want a cure.
  • Problem – No matter whatever station you are in, you may have some needs and problems that you want to get it solved or done quickly. Eg. Have difficulty building a Niche website. You could have the ideas of Niche market but don’t know how to do creation and  management of the website. Somebody can do it for you for a fee.
  • If you want more ideas, you can visit

Google trends or now.MSN.com.

2. Even though you might think that the selected one, is a good niche. You should explore  the competition and potential of making money out of it. This is why Keyword research is so important.

Most successful Niche IM know this fact. It is not the quantity but the quality of your potential customers that bring you the dough.

This leads us to the next questions, how  do we know that we have enough potential customers for our Niche products?

Using Google Keyword Planner, we know the number of keywords searches in a month,  by country or by city, we could also have data about how stiff is the competition, from the keywords used by surfers, using google search engine. You need to have a Google Adword Account, in order to use this tool.  With keyword Planner, Google combined the functionality of Keyword Tool and Traffic Estimator to make it easier to launch search campaigns.

One of the commercial  keywords tools available, is Jaaxy.
